After deciding I was going to launch The Green Guide to Harrogate this summer it all went wrong...we had precious little sun which was just as well as my son broke his leg and we spent a month in hospital! Despite a slight drizzle we gave away 200 cupcakes at the allotment show and got coverage in the Harrogate Advertiser and Yorkshire Post. Apart from the purely selfish angle that the weather has been bad this summer I think it has a worrying impact for climate change. Nearly everyone I know has flown off to sunnier climes. I was cheered to hear that we are getting a new Eurostar terminal at Kings Cross which will mean you don't have to schlep across London on the underground unless you live in the south east....hummm.
