Xmas trees
By buying a Xmas tree with a root ball you can plant it outside and use it again and again each year. A word of warning, last year our Xmas tree died and we worked out it needed to be in a much bigger pot than the one we bought it with. So far our new one is thriving in the garden in a big pot
Wrapping paper
Bags, boxes, material and ribbons can be reused.
Easter
This is a particularly wasteful time of year with small chocolate eggs wrapped in massive cardboard packing. In Sweden they make papier mâché eggs and fill them with chocolates to give to their friends and family – an art project and chocolate gifts – perfect!
